The Duck Pond Loop takes you from the Looking Glass Pond parking area to a pond called - Duck Pond.  This is not a technical ride as the route follows well-maintained dirt roads smooth enough for car traffic.   However, there is more climbing than other dirt road rides, enough so that your child or novice rider may suffer on the back side of the loop.  Experienced riders will find the climbing moderate, at worst.

From the parking area, turn left on Rossman Fly Rd. and 1/4 mile later turn right on Morey Rd.  2.1 miles from the parking area Burnt Hill Rd. will intersect from the left, but you will stay right.  You are now on Burnt Hill Rd.

Stay on Burnt Hill Rd. for about 2 miles until you come to Duck Pond Rd.  Turn left and you will see Duck Pond on your right.  Duck Pond is a quiet, out-of-the-way place, certainly worthy of a visit or picnic.

Continue on Duck Pond Rd. and shortly you will come to a fun, fast descent.  About the time the road turns up a connector road comes in from the right.  Stay straight on Duck Pond Rd. and start climbing.

After a 200 foot climb and a short, flat section the road dips into a small gorge and climbs out of it before connecting with Burnt Hill Rd.

Turn right on Burnt Hill Rd. and left on Rossman Fly Road to return to the parking area.
